Ruby Adams is Executive Assistant at Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation. Ruby is Secretary of the Corporation and is responsible for coordinating all board of director meetings and activities. She is responsible for making travel arrangements for the executive staff officers and other staff members. Ruby organizes and expedites the flow of work through the office supporting all staff members and consultants. Ruby coordinates with the PR consultant on press releases and the annual KHIC newsletter.

Ruby came to Kentucky Highlands from the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center where she was Payroll and Accounting Assistant responsible for payroll processing for 1,000 associates and previously served as benefits coordinator. Ruby has also worked as a legal secretary and assistant at four different law offices.

Ruby has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. Ruby is a graduate of Leadership Tri-County and currently serves on the board of directors of Leadership Tri-County. She also serves on the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards Committee.
