Brooklyn Hooker is Controller for Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation. Brooklyn oversees the accounting department and provides support to the Chief Financial Officer. The accounting department is responsible for the consolidated financial statements of Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation and its subsidiaries, management reports, grants management and reporting, loan management, business planning, and numerous bank and investment accounts. The accounting department also collects and manages impact information for reporting to various funding sources and prepares projections for funding applications. Brooklyn serves as the primary contact during outside audits and assists with funding applications. Brooklyn reviews and analyzes financial reports, provides financial analysis, and ensures that the duties assigned to the accounting department are completed efficiently and accurately.

Ms. Hooker earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of the Cumberlands in 2011. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University in 2008, where she received a Presidential academic scholarship. Brooklyn is also a graduate of Leadership Tr-County.
