Cindy Bowles is Senior Accountant for Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation. Cindy is responsible for all external reporting for the various funding sources of the company. She is also responsible for preparing monthly internal reports including the consolidated financial statements of Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation and its subsidiaries and management reports. Cindy prepares annual business plan projections and assists management in the preparation of funding applications and special projects as necessary. She serves as backup for the cash management and note receivable functions of the accounting department. Cindy also provides technical assistance to investee company accounting personnel as needed. She is involved in processing and maintaining required documentation for payroll including preparation of required federal, state, and local quarterly and annual reports. She assists management in evaluating and choosing employee benefits and updating employee handbooks as necessary.
Prior to employment at Kentucky Highlands, Cindy was employed as Accounting Manager at T.Q., Inc. in Monticello, Kentucky and she was Senior General Ledger Clerk at Tesoro Petroleum Corporation in San Antonio, Texas. Cindy attended San Antonio College where she completed courses in accounting and has completed various work related courses in computer software applications and accounting.
